Every attempt has been made to use clear and concise terminology in the terms and conditions. If any terminology has been used which is not fully understood please contact us for clarification.
1. Bookings are valid and dates guaranteed after, the booking form has been completed, returned, and the appropriate deposit has been paid.
2. The person who signs the booking form certifies that he or she is authorized to agree to the terms and conditions for all persons including those added or substituted at a later date. The signatory must be a member of the party occupying the property and must be over 21 years of age.
3. A deposit must accompany bookings, which is non-refundable. The balance must be paid prior to departure.
4. If the client wishes to cancel the booking they should advise us immediately. The owner will be entitled to retain any payments already made or the balance of hiring charges as follows:
· > 60 days notice = 50% of the rental charges.
· < 60 days = 100% of the rental charges.
(Refunds are available if a suitable replacement is found)
5. In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond our control necessitates the cancellation of the rental agreement, we reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time.
6. The client agrees:
· To pay full cost of any breakages, losses or damage to the property.
· To take good care of the property and leave it clean and tidy at the end of the holiday.
· To report any loss or damage immediately to either the management company or ourselves.
· To permit the management company reasonable access to carry out maintenance, cleaning or repairs.
· Not to sublet or share the property with others without prior consent.
7. We accept no liability for the loss of mains services or failure neither of appliances, nor for the actions or omissions of persons who may control supply of mains services, nor the actions in the vicinity of the property by any authority over which we have no control.
8. The property is available after 4.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure. Any additional time requested will be at the discretion of the management company.
9. We do not accept liability for any injury, damage or loss caused by any reason or for any claim made as a result of this booking and/or the subsequent holiday. The client is responsible for taking out adequate travel/holiday insurance.
10. We do not accept liability for injury, loss or damage caused, or for any such claim by a third party as a consequence of the actions by the client and other people during the period of the let.
12. Pool heating will be switched on either the night before or during the day of arrival and may take some time to heat up to optimum temperature. Having ordered pool heating, the owner who is not responsible for the weather and, if the weathers warmer than expected, pool heating still has to be paid for. The solar blanket must be used when the pool is not in use and during the night.
13. As owners of the property, we, our servants or agents, will not be liable for any loss or delay occasioned by any of the following: strikes, riots, political unrest, war or the threat of war, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, fire, flood, technical/weather problems to transport, aircraft, closure of airports, or any other event beyond the owners control.
14. The maximum occupancy is 8 persons for the villa and is determined by the authorities within strict guidelines for fire safety. Please note that contravention of the above will render your booking void, all moneys paid will be forfeited and you will be asked to leave the villa immediately without any further compensation.
15. Strictly no pets or smoking are allowed in the villa at anytime. Please not that contravention of this will render your booking void and all moneys will be forfeited.
16. Our villa is situated in a quite residential area consisting of about 50/50 rental homes/US families. It is a condition of the rental that you should be considerate in your behaviour and keep the noise levels to a reasonable level so as not to disturb our neighbours.
17. Please note that Southern Dunes have a strict garbage collection service. Please read and adhere to the local collection rules in the welcome brochure at the villa. Failure to do so will incur any fines issued, to be paid by the guest occupying the villa at the stated time.
WE STRONGLY ADVISE ALL OUR GUESTS TO TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE FOR YOUR WHOLE PARTY, WHICH INCLUDES CANCELLATION CHARGES COVER (UK GUESTS ARE ALSO ADVISED TO TAKE OUT A POLICY WHICH INCLUDES MEDICAL COVER) AS SOON AS YOU HAVE BOOKED ANY PART OF YOUR HOLIDAY OR VACATION. IF YOU CHOSE NOT TO DO THIS, YOU NEED TO BE AWARE THAT YOU WILL PERSONALLY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT OF ANY CANCELLATION CHARGES WHICH MAY BECOME DUE.
