Celebration Orlando. Fact Or Fiction.

Developed by The Walt Disney Corporation in the mid 1990′s, Celebration Village has direct access to Walt Disney World, thanks to the fantastic World Drive.A clean colourful place, which many visitors to Orlando, believe is somewhere where only the rich live and shop. Granted Celebration is home to many famous people from all kinds of backgrounds, such as Michael Jordan the former basketball player.Developed at a cost of $2.5 billion, Celebration quickly became one of the most sought after areas in which to buy property. From the white picket fences to the swinging chair on the porch, Celebration is the epitome of many peoples vision of America, as seen on films and documentaries.The clean cut retro appearance of the village is evident everywhere from the architecture to the public telephones, a real change from the remainder of Orlando, with its typical glass fronted high rise offices and modern malls.As for ammenities, Celebration has plenty to offer residents and visitors alike. The small cinema located in the heart of the village has two screens, and offers a much more personal experience than some of the other larger establishments found in the theme parks.If it’s shopping you prefer, then you can spend some time strolling around the small colourful, and beautifully presented shopping area.
