Finding A Florida Villa That is Right For You.
Whether it’s your first time traveling to Florida, or you are a seasoned visitor, finding the right accommodation is key. The best location and property can be a daunting task, especially when your family or traveling party are relying on you to find the perfect fit.
How to Find Your Ideal Florida Villa
Many first-time visitors to Orlando understandably want a rental property close to Walt Disney World. However, experienced visitors know a Florida vacation offers so much more diversity. There is more to Orlando than just the many theme parks! Consequently, this often leads returning holidaymakers to prioritize property features. They look for facilities they need to truly enjoy their downtime.
Word of mouth creates a lot of interest in specific properties. A recommendation from a family member or close friend is a great starting point. What it doesn’t consider, though, is personal choice. An acceptable living space for one family may not suit yours.
Define Your Property Needs: A Checklist
So, set out a list covering the following points first (in no particular order):
1. What size property do you need?
Identify the total number of bedrooms you require. This is the simplest way to determine size.
2. Which facilities are a must-have?
Rental properties offer a host of facilities. For example, these can include Florida villas with games room, a spa, or a Florida villas with a south facing pool deck. The list is almost endless.
Alternatively, you can consider staying in one of the many resort-style communities. These offer a comprehensive number of communal facilities. Examples include gyms, cyber cafes, and games rooms.
Special Consideration: Golf Communities ⛳
Do you have a keen golfer in your party? If so, consider staying in a dedicated golfing community. Many villas here offer stunning views over the golf course. The majority of these communities also include full practice facilities and a clubhouse.
The rest of your party can enjoy shopping. Meanwhile, the golfer can play a round. No one has to worry about returning to pick them up from the course.
Location, Location, Location: Getting Around Orlando
The theme parks, shopping malls, and restaurants are very spread out. Therefore, this makes finding a truly central base difficult.
But, Orlando has an excellent road infrastructure. This makes getting to your destination easy, no matter which community you choose. Travel time is usually quick. The average trip from a popular rental community to Walt Disney World, for instance, is around 15-20 minutes. This depends on the time of year and the time of day you travel.
This is by no means an exhaustive list, and I welcome input from other past and future visitors! What process worked best for them?
